PHILIPSBURG:— In the early hours of Monday, August 14th, 2023, officers from the KPSM (Korps Politie Sint Maarten) conducted a routine vehicle stop that led to the arrest of a suspect found in possession of a firearm, along with the subsequent attack on the officers during the arrest. The incident took place at approximately 03:35 AM on the A.Th Illidge road.
