PHILIPSBURG:— On December 18th, 2023, at approximately 4:15 PM, the Sint Maarten Police Force apprehended an individual following a brief car chase on Nisbeth Road. The police patrol attempted to stop a white Chevrolet Spark in connection with a traffic offense. The driver, failing to comply with the officers' request, accelerated at high speed toward the stoplights and turned right onto A.Th. Illidge Road.
