~ Part 1 of temporary operations a success.~
Airport:— Passengers arriving on St. Maarten by air can already feel some comfort as they arrive at Princess Juliana International Airport on Tuesday as the “arrivals of passengers” are now taking place at the terminal building and not the tent that was used since the passing of hurricane Irma.
On Monday evening management of PJIAE conducted a test and was given clearance to move the arrivals to the terminal building where package 1 of the temporary operations will take place. The first flight that arrived was from the island of SABA on a WINAIR aircraft which landed at 7:56 am.
