The National Institute of Arts in partnership with the Behind the Beyond Community Theatre is the very thankful recipient of the generous support from the FORESEE FOUNDATION (4C). This support comes in the form of partial scholarships for 75 students to attend classes for 6 months with either one of these foundations.
The National Institute of Arts/NIA through their Art Heals program has catered to over 400 students since the aftermath of hurricane Irma and “for the new school year with the support of FORESEE FOUNDATION we are able to relieve some parents who still can’t afford the current fees for Performing Arts classes” says Director Arlene Halley and invite the completely new student in need of financial assistance to embark on a performing arts journey.
Last year Behind the Beyond Community Theatre visited the public schools with two clowns performances YES I CAN! and CLOWNS WITHOUT BORDERSas a part of the Post Irma Relief Program. “During our visits we realised how enthusiastic kids become to learn, to create and to perform themselves” says Director Albina Matuzko, enthusiastically.
National Institute of Arts/NIAand Behind the Beyond Community Theatre would like to create new positive and active learning opportunities for talented children whose parents have financial challenges.
