PHILIPSBURG:--- Police fired several warning shots at a car that was driven by a suspect they believe was part of a group that committed an armed Robbery at Divinity Jewelers on Front Street on Monday morning. According to Police Spokesman Ricardo Henson, the store was robbed while officers of KPSM were attending the Justice Day ceremony at Festival Village. Henson said police managed to act swiftly and fired several warning shots at a vehicle that the robbers were making their escape in. As such police arrested one suspect and also confiscated the vehicle. He said officers are busy sweeping Philipsburg as they continue to look for at least two other suspects known to police.
