PHILIPSBURG:--- Prime Minister Leona Marlin announced on Monday that the Council of Ministers have invoked article 59 of the constitution to dissolve the parliament of St. Maarten and call for new elections.
Romeo- Marlin said the coalition had members who sabotaged the government by worked closely with the opposition, thus the Council of Ministers felt that these very MPs that sabotaged the UD/SMCP coalition cannot be trusted to bring about stability for the country.
