PHILIPSBURG: — Members of Parliament from the opposition benches is protesting the action of the chairlady of Parliament Sarah Wescott Williams. The Members of Parliament both from the National Alliance (NA) and the United Peoples Party (USP) told SMN News that the committee that was established by Wescott Williams on Wednesday to vet the credentials of incoming UD MP Jules James was a committee that was established illegally. The MPs said on Wednesday both Public Meetings of Parliament did not have a majority to validate a quorum, thus that was not a meeting but a gathering.
