Continuation urgent Plenary Public session of Parliament about the management structure of the detention facilities on St. Maarten. | SMN News

PHILIPSBURG:---The House of Parliament will sit in an Urgent Plenary Public session on Wednesday, July 31, 2019.

The public meeting which was adjourned on May 29, 2019, will be reconvened on Wednesday, at 16.00 hrs. in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelminastraat #1 in Philipsburg. The Minister of Justice will be present.

The agenda points are:
1. The management structure of the detention facilities on St. Maarten
2. The status and significance of Progress Committee reports recommendations (IS/1059/2018-2019 dated May 24, 2019)

(This meeting was requested by MP T.E. Leonard, MP S.M. Bijlani and MP J.C. James)
