Contractor blamed for loss of Point Blanche Cable TV services. | SMN News

Pond Island:--- TelEm Group workers are busy restoring CableTV and CableNet services in the Point Blanche area Wednesday after a contractor damaged a Cable TV trunk cable while putting up a digital signpost.

The damage was reported Tuesday and TelEm Group technicians in the Outside Plant Department (OSP) were called in to assess the damage, make a report and begin repairs right away
According to TelEm Group Chief Technical Officer (CTO) Mr. Eldert Louisa, the damage to the truck cable was quite severe and has affected all customers in the Point Blanche area making use of Cable TV and CableNet
