PHILIPSBURG:— The Government of St. Maarten has decided that they will further push back to the arrival of US flights to St. Maarten. St. Maarten Government may allow US flights back as of August 1st, 2020, that will depend on the amount of COVID-19 cases in the US territory.
Minister of TEATT Ludmilla de Weever made the announcement on Wednesday at the Council of Ministers on Wednesday. De Weever said that the decision was taken due to the high amount of COVID-19 in North America. She said while August 1st is the target date, this cannot be definite
