~ Residents urged to take all precautions and call their doctor if they develop symptoms.~

PHILIPSBURG:--- Minister of Health Richard Panneflek along with the AMI Team working at the St. Maarten Medical Center treating COVID-19 patients urged the general public to take the necessary precautions such as wearing a mask, and follow the hygiene procedures as outlined by the CDC to avoid the spread of the virus.
Panneflek said St. Maarten has seen a drastic increase in active cases and as such everyone should begin to act responsibly.
