PHILIPSBURG:— The Easter Holidays has been a very busy period for the Special Unit Robbery of the Police Force. During this period and namely from Thursday, April 18th through Monday, April 22nd a total of three armed robberies and one attempted armed robbery took place at businesses on the island. The first incident took place on Thursday, April 18th at 2.3 Supermarket (former Afoo Supermarket in Dutch Quarter) at approximately 11.10 a.m. This is when a lone gunman entered the establishment and attempted to rob one of the cashiers with a gun.
