PHILIPSBURG:---Last week Environmental Protection in the Caribbean (EPIC) Foundation led a sunset kayak event. Twenty-one participants enjoyed the beauty of Simpson Bay and the Simpson Bay Lagoon. While the pace was relaxed, skilled and novice kayakers had the opportunity to join a fun race at the Causeway Bridge. Later on, there were drinks and stories to share back at Kimsha Beach. EPIC would like to thank all the volunteers that helped and a big thank you to the sponsors: Tri-Sport and CC1, for helping with this event. Raised funds will support environmental educational and conservation projects.
