p>PHILIPSBURG:— Minister of VSA Emil Lee has failed the screening process due to the complaint filed by Minister Christopher Emmanuel. Emmanuel filed a complained against Lee after SMN News released photographs showing that Lee had removed the government license plate from his vehicle and placed it on his personal vehicle. Lee also used government bonds to purchase diesel on September 12th for his hotel.
According to information provided to SMN News, two other candidate Ministers from the UPP camp also failed the screening process. They are Leona Marlin-Romeo. Marlin it is alleged received government lease land within 24 hours after applying for it. While the third candidate Minister that failed screening is Claret Connor. It is understood that Connor failed the screening to all the documents he signed off on while being a demissionary Minister.
Last week the Governor’s Office confirmed that the former formateur and candidate Prime Minister Franklin Meyers also failed the screening for several reasons one being the ongoing criminal case involving his brother.
