PHILIPSBURG:— Minister of VROMI Miklos Giterson may soon leave his post as Minister due to a failed blood test that showed that he was under the influence of alcohol when he had the early morning accident. SMN News learned that Giterson blood test also showed that he is a substance abuser.
The source said that Giterson had agreed to step down as Minister of VROMI but is currently hesitant because he was legally advised that the test is not admissible in court.
SMN News further learned that that certain members of the coalition partners including the Prime Minister Leona Romeo Marlin want Giterson to resign since his performance as Minister of VROMI is rather poor and has gotten worse since the accident on that occurred on September 7th2018. Giterson was arrested by Police at the scene of the accident.
It is expected that Giterson will make a firm decision as to whether or not he will buckle to the pressure of the Prime Minister or face a potential motion of no-confidence.
Should Giterson resign today or later this week, then he will be replaced by Minister of Justice Cornelius de Weever, until another candidate is found.
