EXCLUSIVE: Theo: wants SZV to finance PJIAE as the World Bank Funds taking forever.

PHILIPSBURG:— Leader of the United Democrats Theodore Heyliger is trying to get SZV to loan the Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIAE) USD 50M to bridge its ongoing financial problems. SMN News learned that Heyliger already contacted the Director of SZV Glen Carty asking him to look into the possibility of giving PJIAE a loan since the World Bank is taking forever to dish out funds for St. Maarten.
Prime Minister Leona Marlin said a few weeks ago that the World Bank would bridge the loan of $50M that PJIAE would need, but upon research by SMN News, it revealed that the World Bank could take another 6 months or longer before this could be a reality.
Already SZV has a number of its funds tied up in committed investments and soon enough SZV may go bankrupt if they continue with their excessive spending, due to political favors which could warrant a criminal investigation. SZV committed itself recently to finance the New General Hospital and they invested in the completion and renovation of the Government Administration Building including the sales and purchase of $100M, not to mention almost $40M been spent recklessly on consultant fees and the loan to ZEBEC in the amount of $10 M that is being investigated.
Just last month Members of Parliament fired a number of questions to Minister of Health Emil Lee regarding SZV funds and its financial standing. Lee is expected to return to Parliament sometime this month to provide Parliament with the answers to their questions.
Should SZV consider the demands of Theodore Heyliger then it is certain that SZV will go bankrupt as they certainly cannot handle such a financial burden?
