~Johnson looking at possible motion of no confidence.~
PHILIPSBURG:— Minister of TEATT Stuart Johnson who is currently in the Netherlands even though he told parliament that he would not be traveling has made several of the United Peoples Party (UP) that are now part of the UD very uncomfortable that they chose to seek the assistance of the opposition to try and get rid of their appointed Minister.
Two weeks ago Johnson came under fire when he tried to dismiss one of his cabinet staff, a strong supporter of the UPP/UD. Johnson was trying to create a position in his cabinet for his best friend and also another supporter of the UPP. However, his attempts backfired when he blocked the cabinet staff from entering his office. The entire saga ended up on social media which caught the attention of the UD members which led to an emergency meeting where both Johnson and the staff member apologized to each other while he was ordered to reinstate the staff.
It appears that even though Johnson complied with the request of his party members the dust is not quite settled as the main person behind the leader of the UD met with an opposition member of parliament last week to gather support and information in order to force Johnson out of office. The source said that the MP who is well versed on the affairs of TEATT assisted the person representing the UD Leader by providing a host of information as to where Johnson failed within his cabinet.
It is also understood that the UP/UD member is seeking the assistance of the opposition to bring a motion of no confidence against Johnson since according to them he is not performing well as a Minister and especially since he has been ignoring the orders given to him by those that appointed him.
