PHILIPSBURG:--- USZV legal advisor Dymphne Bossers resigned from her position late last week after its director Glen Carty signed off yet another contract for his best friend Sidley Laurence who is dealing with USZV Human Resources.
SMN News learned that Bossers was placed on the sidelines by Carty after she questioned a number of contracts that were being signed off. The source said Carty gave his friend Laurence a 13th month contract with benefits even though Laurence is a consultant that is paid $30.000.00 per month and not an employee that is entitled to benefits.
SMN News further learned that Bossers contested several other contracts that she deemed illegal that Carty was signing off on, most of which are for his friends. The source said that Bossers seemingly had enough and decided to make her position available. It is not clear if the decision rendered by the Curacao Court last week where the former Minister of Health was condemned sparked her resignation.

Bossers in an email said that she is appalled that SMN News published an article regarding her resignation. She claimed the information to be untrue and that she was never sidelined while she has much respect for her former employer at USZV and her colleagues including Mr. Carty and Mr. Lourens.
Bossers went on to say she left USZV after working there for six years because she thinks its time to do other things and allow someone else to take over. She claimed she did not leave because she was upset with certain contracts or was even sidelined.
