Female arrested at PJIA.

PHILIPSBURG:— On November 19th, 2018 a female from the Dominican Republic with initials C.M.M. was arrested by officers of the Alpha Team at the PJIA.
C.M.M. came to the airport to pick up a friend who had just arrived on the island. C.M.M. was asked by members of the Alpha Team to provide any sort of valid personal identification. C.M.M. could only show an identification card from the Dominican Republic and stated that she’d been residing on the island for the past 15 years.
On the violations of article 23 and 24 of the LTU, C.M.M. was arrested by members of the Alpha Team and taken to the main police station and turned over to the Immigration Mobile Unit.
