~ Coalition turn blind eye on Bearing Point Contract~
PHILIPSBURG:— Despite the budget being late for over 10 months and the Minister of Finance Perry Geerlings violated the procedures and also had a blatant conflict of interest when he handled the Bearing Point Tax Reform Contract the coalition felt it was not necessary to send the Finance Minister home.
Thus the 8 MPs supporting the current government voted against the motion tabled by USP leader Frans Richardson, while the 7 MPs in opposition voted in favor thus the motion was not carried.
