Five Goldfinger robbers convicted.

MARIGOT—The court in Basse-Terre in Guadeloupe sentenced the five suspects responsible for the Marina Royale Goldfinger jewelry store robbery which took place on December 11, 2015, the suspects were sentenced to various jail terms which vary from two years up to ten years.

Goldfinger was robbed in broad daylight at 2:45pm by five individuals, two of whom were armed with an axe and a sledgehammer. They smash the window showcases before stealing jewelry and several luxury watches.

The investigation led by detectives of Brigade de Recherches allowed the investigators to quickly identify the five all five were arrested in January 2016 and placed in detention in Guadeloupe.

K.C. was sentenced to seven years in prison with a committal order (mandat de dépôt) and a 10,000 Euro fine, C.P. was sentenced to five years in prison with a committal order and an 8,000 Euro fine; D.L. and M.S. were both sentenced to four years in prison with a committal order and 5,000 Euro fines, and S.L. was sentenced to two years in prison with committal order.
