GREAT BAY (DCOMM):— Healthcare providers are invited to register to participate in a Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) workshop that is scheduled to take place on March 24 and March 25.
This initiative is a collaborative effort of the Collective Prevention Services (CPS), a department within the Ministry of Public Health, Social Development and Labour (Ministry VSA), the American University of the Caribbean (AUC) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The workshop will take place at AUC on Saturday, March 24 from 8.30am to 4.00pm and on Sunday, March 25 from 9.00am to 4.00pm.
The objective of the training is to increase knowledge and skills of medical service providers for first-level diagnosis, treatment, and referral of patients in order to provide an efficient STIs program for the country.
