High Day Road Accident leaves scooter rider dead.

FRENCH QUARTER:--- A road accident on RN7 in French Quarter, opposite French Quarter Medical Clinic has left a scooter rider dead. The victim and rider of the scooter are well known in the French Quarter community. Identified only as Miguel Germain who lost one leg in a previous accident a few years ago, lost his life on Tuesday when he collided with an oncoming car that was driving at high speed.

Currently, Gendarmes and other law enforcement officers are busy with their investigation as the body of the dead scooter rider lay alongside the road.

SMN News learned that the driver of the car is a teacher that teaches at Saint Maximin School in French Quarter.
