PHILIPSBURG:---- TelEm Group staffers were at their Wacky best Friday when they entered their workplace looking decidedly – Off!
It’s all part of the Marketing & Sales team Wacky Telco Friday promotion, in which personnel were invited to exchange their weekly dress-down Friday into something Wacky and to take home some great prizes for their effort.

Utilizing all kinds of themes, from TV, pop culture, food, super-hero characters, bathing beauties, and depicting various popular persons and characters, the number of offerings this year was truly amazing and included among those judged: Joseline; Leticia, Sasha, Cesburk, Nina, Shakima, Carmita, Careen, Debbie, Karen, Stephania, Amalika, Shadira, Isabel, Edmund, Ajay, Edgardo, Shadira.

The wacky dressers piled into the office of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mrs. Helma Etnel during the course of the morning to show off their costumes and received some resounding words of praise for being such good sports.

“I am really impressed with the creativity and effort that you have all put into how you look for Wacky Friday,” said Mrs. Etnel. She joke that she would however have to think twice about any of the attire before her getting the thumbs up for regular dress-down Friday at TelEm Group.

The participation of TelEm Group workers was only one part of the promotion of Wacky Telco Friday. The main part of the promotion involves the sale of various specials to members of the public and valued TelEm Group customers who have been coming into the main building on Pond Island all day to take up some unbelievable offers on the company’s products and services.

As with the staff, customers were also encouraged to come in dressed “Wacky” to win other great prizes including a $2,000 Smart home system.

Here again, participation was fun and generously received by customer service staff, regular service staff, members of the public and TelEm Group customers.
