PHILIPSBURG:— On Wednesday, November 21st a joint control was conducted by Customs officers, the Justice K-9 unit and the Alpha Team at the cargo facilities at the PJIA.
During said control, the K9-unit alerted the handlers to a particular section in the building where several boxes were stored. Together with Customs, an investigation was done to establish the contents of said boxes. While investigating the contents of the boxes, 3 of them contained what appears to be a substantial amount of marijuana.
All 3 boxes were with its content were confiscated by the Customs Department for further investigation.
