  1. St. Maarten should be added to the Guinness World Records for the World’s Longest Burning Dumpster Fire. In case ANY competent news organization chooses to report the facts, the dump HAS NOT STOPPED BURNING FOR WEEKS. It’s no longer putting out the pitch black choking smoke, but it is still smoking. Ask ANYONE with an unfortunate view of the dump. Every morning/afternoon/night you’ll see smoke. When the wind shifts you’ll smell it in your home too. Stop copying press releases saying the fire is out, The dumpster is still burning.

THE ONLY THING THAT WILL GET THE GOVERNMENT TO ACT (since elections are over) IS IF THIS MAKES INTERNATIONAL NEWS. THE TITLE OF “WORLD’S LARGEST DUMPSTER FIRE” AND “WORLD’S LONGEST BURNING DUMPSTER FIRE” MAKE SUITABLY TRASHY HEADLINES.
