PHILIPSBURG:--- Police Inspector Lyndon Lewis and business professional Richard Patrick will be contesting the January 9 Parliamentary elections with the United People party. Both are no strangers to campaigning or public service. Lewis is a former candidate of the USP while Patrick is a former candidate of the SMCP.

Lewis, a married father of 5, is known for his vigorous defense of his colleague police officers and civil servants and private sector workers in general, while He defended their interests in court numerous times and claimed victories. He has a passion for rule of law and improving the justice chain
