Man arrested in connection with criminal investigation.

PHILIPSBURG:--- On Tuesday, February 27th at approximately 06.30 a.m. three separate locations on the island were raided simultaneously by police in connection with an ongoing illegal drug investigation. During the raid at an address in Madame Estate evidence indicating the presence of drugs and a firearm were found. These items were immediately confiscated. A male suspect identified with initials A.K.A. was arrested and taken to the Philipsburg Police Head Quarters where he remains in custody for further investigation.
