PHILIPSBURG:— Each year The Rotary Club of St. Maarten-Mid Isle organizes a ‘Rotary Has Heart’ project, on or around Valentine’s Day each year. The project is first and foremost an effort to put food on an empty plate, to fill an empty stomach, to bring a ray of hope to the hungry.
This year Mid Isle decided to serve the seniors at the C.O.M. E. Center a pre-Valentine’s luncheon. The Community Outreach Mentorship & Empowerment Foundation (C.O.M.E. Center) currently caters to the community of St. Maarten with an Adult Literacy Program twice weekly, a Senior Citizens in Action
