PHILIPSBURG:— Minister of VROMI Miklos Giterson is in police custody this morning as he was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. SMN News understands that Giterson was involved in a traffic accident in the St. John’s area while driving MR 6.
SMN News managed to confirm that the Minister is in police custody, however, the police has remained mum on the arrest.
Police Spokesman Ricardo Henson said he is not allowed to comment on the matter and whenever he gets the authority to make statements he will inform the media.
