PHILIPSBURG:--- Minister of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry of VROMI), Christopher Wever was recently invited to the monthly green initiatives meeting to be briefed and updated on projects the group is working on.
Consisting of 16 groups, the Minister was introduced to those present and the initiatives they are working on and discussed possible future collaboration. The Minister also used the opportunity to inform the group about the upcoming clean up/recycling campaign from government which will be launching soon.
The Minister was also briefed on the results of Environmental Protection in the Caribbean (EPIC) Sint Maarten's lagoon valuation
