PHILIPSBURG:--- The Police Department is making the following information known Between June 18th and June 22nd 2018 there has been a video-clip posted and circulating on Social Media regarding two individuals (male and female) involved in a very explicit sexual act. Also is clear to see in this video-clip is that the female is wearing a uniform shirt of the Dutch National Police Force. This video has raised much concern within the Justice Ministry, the KPSM, the Dutch National Police Force and the community at large.
An internal investigation was done in regard to this video and at this time no evidence whatsoever was found to indicate that this video-clip was even produced on Sint Maarten or if any of the colleagues from the Dutch National Police Force who have returned to the Netherlands since their tour of duty to the island, or who are presently on Sint Maarten has been identified. In addition the commander of the Dutch contingency presently on the island denies having any knowledge who these individuals are in the video-clip or where it was recorded.
The Honorable Minister of Justice Cornelius De Weever has been informed of this situation and has ordered that an in depth investigation into this case.
