St. Eustatius: ---KPCN starts extensive investigation into death on Statia
On Sunday, June 25th around 1.00 AM the Dutch Caribbean Police Force (KPCN) on St. Eustatius received a call that two injured persons would be found in a dwelling. On the scene, Police discovered one deceased and one wounded person. The injured person was transported to the Queen Beatrix Medical Centre. Police began an extensive investigation.
No further information can be provided at this time. KPCN and the Public Prosecutor’s Office will provide updates as the investigation progresses.
On Sunday afternoon the police on Sint Eustatius (KPCN) arrested the man who was injured last night and transported to the hospital. The arrest was ordered by the Public Prosecutor BES. He is suspected of involvement in the death of the victim found. The investigation in this case continues.
