PHILIPSBURG:--- In accordance with the year calendar of the Parliament of Sint Maarten, the summer recess of Parliament is scheduled from July 2 – August 7, 2020.
However, due to developments surrounding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and the need for Parliament to work on some urgent matters, it was deemed necessary to defer 4 weeks out of the 6 weeks summer recess to later in the year, allowing Parliament to work diligently on much-needed legislation and other urgent matters.
