PHILIPSBURG:--- The Special Unit Robbery is presently investigating an armed robbery which took place on Sunday, April 1st at approximately 12.40 a.m. on Honey Dew road. According to the victim she had just arrived home and parked her car in front of her residence. As she opens the gate to her yard she was suddenly attacked by an unknown assailant dressed in dark clothing and a hoody over his head. The suspect demanded money and at the same time pulled the gold necklace from the victims’ neck and took the keys belonging to her vehicle. The suspect struck the victim with the butt of the gun he was carrying causing her to fall to the ground. The suspect fled the scene on foot after committing the act.
