PHILIPSBURG:--- Politics raised its ugly head again in the Parliament of St. Maarten on Wednesday when the public meeting of parliament was called to vet the credentials of incoming Member of Parliament Jules James who will be replacing suspended MP Theodore Heyliger.

It appears that the Chairlady of Parliament is sabotaging the meeting she convened by not giving Members of Parliament timely notification based on the rules of order. Members of Parliament told SMN News they only receive the notification at 6:32 pm on Tuesday for the meeting scheduled for 11
