Port St. Maarten in Conjunction with TPI Hosts Royal Tea Party for Professional Women

professionalwomen12042017POINTE BLANCHE:—  Training Professionals International Firm (TPI) on Tuesday at Westin Dawn Beach, presented in conjunction with Port St. Maarten, the ‘Royal Tea Party.’ This was done in honor of Women’s International Day that is internationally observed on March 8.
The event was organized by TPI for Port St. Maarten’s professional women. “Port St. Maarten is a professional business organization that provides its employees every opportunity to upgrade themselves in order to be the best qualified in the field that they work in.
“No employee should be afraid of demonstrating their capacity, nor defending their ability for managerial positions within any organization. Port St. Maarten has been committed to its employees. Gender equality is an international discussion, but at this corporate organization, our professional women are treated equally across the board and with respect.
“It is an honor for me to be part of the Port St. Maarten Group of Companies where we have so many talented women who work very hard every day in carrying out their duties.
“I take my hat off to them, and I would like to say on behalf of the Supervisory Board and Management, that we appreciate your hard work, and to continue to make a difference as you have done over the years as we all work together to grow our cruise and cargo business which benefits the country of Sint Maarten,” Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Port St. Maarten Mark Mingo said on Wednesday.
‘Royal Tea Party’ activities kicked off at 11.00am and ran until 3.00pm. The morning started off with a welcome reception that featured eatable delights and scrumptious surprises outdoors with an enchanting ambiance.
The day continued with a brunch at noon and flowers in full bloom presentation given by TPI’s CEO Dr. Natasha J. Gittens. This was followed by a relaxing blooming raffle where 10 special women had the opportunity to capture their bloom and win a relaxing gift certificate of a variety of spa services.
The aforementioned was then followed by the bloom empowerment session that involved getting to know your co-worker in an orchestrated team building exercise unleashing the person’s bloom in a positive Port St. Maarten culture environment.
