~ Is the Minister of VSA looking for his own kickback with New Hospital Project?~
PHILIPSBURG:— A news article published on March 13th, 2018 states that the President of Condotte Construction Company Duccio Astaldi were among six persons that were arrested over suspected kickbacks in the construction of the motorway between Siracusa and Gela in Sicily. The report further states that Astaldi resigned from the company after he was informed of his arrests. The six persons are believed to be involved in the payment of a huge kickback for the construction of three lots on motorway.
Ever since SMN News broke the story that INSO and its parent company Ferfina S.P.A filed for bankruptcy in Italy which sparked Members of Parliament begin investigating the financial standing of INSO, more questions about INSO and its parent companies and or associates are unfolding daily.
Most of the information gathered is available online yet the Minister of VSA chose to continue working with INSO since his construction company Atlas will be working alongside INSO. It is clear that the Minister is not working in St. Maarten’s best interest, instead he is busy gathering contracts while in government for his construction company.
