SIMPSON BAY:—  Due to the impending tropical storm Ernesto Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIA) will be temporarily closed. This decision has been made to ensure the safety of all passengers, staff, and airline personnel.

Closure Schedule:
Tuesday, August 13: Airport operations will cease at 10:00 AM.
Wednesday, August 14: The airport will remain closed for the entire day.
Thursday, August 15: We expect to resume full operations at 7:00 AM.
Weather forecasts predict heavy storms that will significantly impact visibility and runway conditions, making it unsafe for aircraft operations. We have made this decision to avoid any potential hazards and prioritize the well-being of everyone at the airport.
