PHILIPSBURG:--- The Public Prosecutor's Office (OM) points out that media reports on the Emerald-investigation, that port companies are subject to investigation, are not correct.
As stated in our press release of June 8th, 2017, the port, its holding and its subsidiaries are not suspect in the investigation.

The prosecutor's office made the above statements after one media outlet published an article on Monday stating that companies that did business with the Harbor are part of the investigation. The report came out after the Prosecutor's Office confirmed that the CEO of the Harbor Mark Mingo remains in pretrial detention for the next eigh days.
