PHILIPSBURG:— The Public Prosecutor’s Office has taken the decision to donate number of unclaimed items which were confiscated in the aftermath of hurricane Irma to the following organizations namely; Red Cross St. Maarten, Turning Point Foundation, Safe Haven Foundation, the Mental Health Foundation and the Belvedere Community Center.
The Prosecutor’s Office is presently in the process of setting a date and location for a Public Auction of the remaining confiscated goods. The public will be notified via the media as to the date, time and location.
