Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunrise presents Glenda Brazier with the Vocational Excellence Award.

PHILIPSBURG:— Rotary International observes a different theme each month that fosters Community Service and promotes International Peace and Understanding. January 2018 is observed as Vocational Service Month. The concept of vocational service calls on Rotarians to encourage and foster high ethical standards in business and professions and the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations.
Clubs award individuals who have a record of a commitment and high achievement in their chosen vocation which has been to the advancement of that vocation and the community.
The Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunrise selected Glenda Brazier as a recipient of a Vocational Excellence Award. Glenda Brazier has been working at the University of St. Martin as of July 12, 1993 where she started as the Assistant Admissions Coordinator. In 1995 she was promoted to the Academic office in the position Assistant to the Dean of Academic Affairs and Registrar. In 2000 she was promoted to the Registrar, the position which she still currently holds. Glenda is very dedicated to the University of St. Martin and its current and past students. She works tirelessly in securing that the students are registered and enrolled on time. Students can see Glenda working late hours in the evenings or on weekends.
President Valda Hazel stated that her co-member proposed Glenda as a suitable candidate and immediately those who are familiar with her service agreed that she is deserving of the recognition. The president congratulates Glenda on this achievement and encouraged her to continue exceeding in her vocation.
