PHILIPSBURG:— Philipsburg Jubilee Library (PJL) has made s number of enhancements to the general safety of its premises on W.J.A. Nisbeth to ensure the comfort and well-being of both staff and library members.
The library has an automated external defibrillator (AED) on-site. Five staff members will soon become certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and AED use. This means at all-time at least one member of staff with this life-saving training is on-site. This certification is valid for two years.
A professional first aid kit is in place and staffers can help in minor matters.
Several fire distinguishers are distributed throughout the library.
