PHILIPSBURG:— The Minister of Education Culture Youth & Sports The Honorable Silveria Jacobs has decided to close all schools on Monday, May 29th, 2017 due to heavy rains, reports of heavy flooding throughout the island and overall poor weather conditions.
Take note that students in exam classes will, unfortunately, have to report to school or end up taking rests at a later date as they are based on international and regional scheduling.
A follow-up announcement will be issued later today indicating if schools will reopen on Tuesday, May 30th, 2017.
