PHILIPSBURG:— Detectives are presently investigating a shooting incident involving two or more Venezuelan men and a scooter rider. This incident took place on Sunday, May 26th on Sint Peters road. According to reports these men and the scooter rider may have been involved in an altercation a short time back. Today when they saw the scooter rider they started throwing empty bottles at him. The scooter rider ran into a yard while being chased by these men. At one point according to witnesses, they heard at least two shots fired causing persons in the area to take cover and
