Police Force donates tokens to SMMC kids ward.
In order to keep the spirit of the holidays alive the Community Police Officers Inspectors Felix Richards and Rensley Henson on behalf of the Sint Maarten Police Force gave out holiday tokens to the entire kids ward of the SMMC. In their role as Santa’s helpers, they were able to bring smiles to many faces. The staff at SMMC was very happy with the gesture and also pitched in to help spread the joy.
Shooting victim arrested.
The man identified as E.L who was shot by unknown assailants last week Thursday has since been arrested by police for the possession of an illegal firearm. No further details will be released at this time due to the sensitivity of the case. The investigation is ongoing.
