CAY HILL:--- Urologists of the St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) recently performed a complex surgical procedure called a ‘Laparoscopic Nephrectomy’.
SMMC’s Urologists, Dr. Diego Ramos, and Dr. Carlos Rojas performed the minimally invasive surgery together which can be used to remove all or part of a kidney. One of the main benefits of the Laparoscopic Nephrectomy is that it yields significantly less post-operative pain and shorter hospital stays for patients.
