GREAT BAY(DCOMM):— Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), announces that the residents of South Reward can expect road closures and alternate routes as the Arrowroot Project moves forward.
The objective of the project is to improve living conditions of residents by eliminating sewage water running along the streets which create a public health and traffic hazard.
The Infrastructure Management Department, is hereby notifying residents of the on-going construction work that pertains to sewage connections in the South Reward area.
There will be temporary road closures for a six week period. The streets that will be affected are Carrot road, Arrowroot road, and Pear road.
Residents are asked to plan ahead by planning out alternate routes.
Motorists are advised to drive slowly while in the area due to the construction works that will be taking place, and to be observant of the traffic signs that will be erected to help the flow of traffic.
Pedestrians are also asked to be observant of the construction works area.
The contractor responsible for carrying out the installation of sewage lines is ESLI Construction.
Ministry VROMI apologizes for any inconveniences this may cause.
