PHILIPSBURG: — Prime Minister Silveria Jacobs called on residents and businesses on St. Maarten to take the necessary steps to flatten the curve on COVID-19 since the active cases have risen to 89. Jacobs said 86 persons have recovered since the outbreak in March 2020, while 17 deceased have been registered.
Of the 89 active cases. 3 are hospitalized, 82 are isolated. There are a total of 192 positive cases since the outbreak on St. Maarten
The Prime Minister reminded the residents and businesses on the mandatory wearing of masks
