GREAT BAY (DCOMM):--- The St. Maarten Tourist Bureau staff recently attended a workshop on guest/customer services.

The facilitator for the training was Glen Yeung of SXM Hospitality Educational Institute, located at Backstreet 172, Philipsburg.

Yeung certification program is part of the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute.

The workshop focused on seven main points in achieving good customer service, which was Authenticity, Intuition Empathy, Champion, Delight, Delivery, and Initiative.

Minister of Tourism and Economic Affairs Ingrid Arrindell and Glen Yeung presented the staff with their certificates.
